A Simple Pure AddictionSugar is something your body needs to survive, I remind myself as I pull away from the drive-thru. It provides fuel for your cells, it’s in the structure of your DNA, it gives you energy. All of those details I picked up in Biology classes rush back to my mind as I glance at the milkshake I just bought before pulling up to a stop sign. I don’t think I was supposed to eat sugar this way, though. I turn on my right blinker and pull out onto the somewhat empty road back to my house. Oh my GOSH, a post!

So, I haven't actually posted on dA in over a year, I believe, other than commenting Kourin and Molly's pictures. After deliberating intensely (read as: on a whim sitting in my mind for more than half a year) I've decided to clean out my gallery and start anew. Looking at the old art up there...

Oh my gosh, I nearly stabbed my eyes out with a blunt pencil. I'm so sorry to those who endured looking at that. o_o I only kept one because I STILL like it and it's STILL the only picture of Jim Hawkins I've ever drawn that looks like Jim. Anehways...

I solemnly swear that I will upload my art more often, as I am actually getting to the point where I'm happy with what I'm drawing (while still improving, of course). Feel free to slap me if there are long periods of time where I don't upload... my motivation may not last, but here's to hoping it does. Onward march!
